How we coordinate wholesale flower orders for events and hotel F&B teams
Wholesale orders run on different logistics from retail. Most wholesale customers have specific event dates that drive backwards-scheduled supply: a hotel needs 200 stems delivered Tuesday morning for a Wednesday banquet, an event planner needs 500 stems delivered Friday for a Saturday wedding, a florist needs 50 stems weekly for ongoing arrangements. We accept these pre-scheduled wholesale orders with 5 to 10 working days lead time depending on the stem type. For Ecuadorian premium varieties, lead time is 7 to 10 days because we order from the farm based on confirmed wholesale demand. For local roses and tulips, lead time is 3 to 5 days. For peonies during peak season, lead time is 5 to 7 days. We deliver wholesale orders by our own van directly to the venue or workspace, packaged in protective transport boxes that keep stems hydrated during transit.

How much cheaper are wholesale flowers vs retail arrangements?
Significantly cheaper per stem because labour and presentation packaging are excluded. A retail Cameron Highlands rose bouquet might cost SGD 8 per stem (12 stems for SGD 96 with arrangement and wrap). The same stem at wholesale costs SGD 1.20 in 50-stem bunches. The trade-off: you do the arranging yourself.
