Exceptional service recovery and customer care! Recently ordered a floral centrepiece for a significant milestone event, and while there was initially a hiccup, the Singapore Florist team went above and beyond to make it right.

Ordered a bouquet for a friend's birthday and the delivery was right on time. Stems were fresh, the wrap was elegant, and the recipient sent me photos within an hour to thank me. Would order again without hesitation.

99 roses for the Chinese promise of forever love

In Chinese culture the number 99 sounds like the phrase for long-lasting or forever (九九 jiǔ jiǔ), which is why a 99-rose bouquet is the romantic grand gesture across Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong. It is given at proposals, on significant anniversaries, on Valentine's Day when you want to say something bigger than a single bouquet can say on its own, and on the 520 date (20 May, the Chinese I love you day). The Singapore Florist studio has been building 99-rose arrangements since 1987, long before Instagram made the trend photogenic.

Every 99-rose bouquet in this collection is hand-arranged over two to three hours by a single florist working in our Eunos Techpark studio. That is deliberate. A 99-rose dome is a technical build, not a mass-production product, and mixing florists mid-build creates subtle inconsistencies in the spiral pattern that show up in photos. One arranger, one build, two to three hours, one fresh dispatch. The result is a bouquet that holds its dome shape evenly from every angle, which matters because 99-rose bouquets almost always get photographed from multiple sides on proposal day.

Pricing starts at SGD 288 for the local Cameron Highlands hybrid tier and goes up to SGD 688 for premium Ecuadorian cultivars like Explorer and Ohara. The price gap reflects stem size (40cm vs 60cm stems), head size (3cm vs 6cm when fully bloomed), and vase life (5 to 7 days for local, 7 to 10 days for premium). Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 11am, but we recommend placing 99-rose orders 1 to 2 days ahead to secure the exact colour and varietal you want. We keep limited stock of the larger Ecuadorian heads, and premium varietals sell out quickly during Valentine's week and the 520 period. Not sure 99 stems is right for your gesture? How we build a 99-rose bouquet from scratch

The build starts 12 to 24 hours before dispatch. Each of the 99 stems is stripped of lower leaves, cut at a 45-degree angle, and placed in nutrient water to condition overnight. The next morning, the arranger lays out the 99 stems in the exact colour pattern (solid, dominant-with-accent, or mixed), then builds the dome in concentric spirals starting from the centre and working outward. Each new rose is positioned at the same angle as its neighbours so the dome shape stays consistent. Once the spiral is complete, the stems are bound with florist tape, wrapped in our signature cream-gold paper, and tied with ribbon. The final bouquet weighs 4 to 6 kilograms and arrives at your doorstep within two hours of wrapping. Read our guide to what each rose count means (1 to 100 stems) for the symbolism of 11, 33, 66, 99, and 108 rose bouquets.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why 99 roses specifically? What is the meaning?

The Chinese word for nine (九 jiǔ) sounds identical to the word for long-lasting or forever (久 jiǔ). A 99-rose bouquet is therefore read as a wish for forever love or forever togetherness, which is why it is the go-to gesture for proposals, milestone anniversaries, and Chinese weddings. It is one of the most romantic bouquet counts you can send in Singapore culture.

How much does a 99-rose bouquet cost in Singapore?

Our 99-rose bouquets start from around SGD 288 for local hybrid roses and go up to SGD 688 for premium Ecuadorian cultivars. The price difference reflects stem size, stem length, and vase life. The listing on this page shows the current live price for each tier. For custom colour or mixed-colour 99-rose builds, WhatsApp us for a quote.

Can you deliver a 99-rose bouquet on the same day?

Sometimes yes, always check with us first. We keep limited stock of the premium Ecuadorian roses so last-minute same-day 99-rose orders depend on what is in the studio that morning. Order before 11am and WhatsApp us immediately to confirm. For guaranteed availability, order 1 to 2 days ahead.

Are all 99 roses the same colour, or can I mix them?

Both are possible. The most traditional is a solid colour (usually red for romance, white for weddings, or champagne for a softer romantic look). We also build mixed bouquets with a dominant colour and 10 to 15 accent roses in a complementary shade. For fully custom palettes, message us on WhatsApp 2 to 3 days before the date you need it.

How long does a 99-rose bouquet last once delivered?

5 to 10 days with proper care. Because the bouquet is so large and tightly packed, the stems need to be re-cut and placed in fresh water within an hour of delivery. If you leave it wrapped for more than 6 hours the bottom layer will start to wilt. We include a care card with every 99-rose order and you can also read our 10 tips to keep roses fresh for the full routine.
