Fresh cut orchids, single-stem and bunch options

Cut orchids are the long-lasting workhorse of the Singapore florist world: 2 to 4 weeks vase life, multiple blooms per stem, holds up in air-conditioning. The most-ordered varieties in our studio are Phalaenopsis (the classic moth orchid in white, pink, or two-tone), Dendrobium (smaller blooms in purple and white, often imported from Thailand), Cymbidium (the large garden orchid in green, yellow, or pink), and Mokara (small bright orange or yellow blooms, locally grown). All are sold by the stem or by the bunch.

For office reception arrangements and table centrepieces, cut orchids beat almost any other flower on cost-per-week. A SGD 80 cymbidium arrangement holds up for 3 weeks, equivalent to refreshing roses three times. For sympathy and condolence work, white phalaenopsis stems are the standard premium upgrade over chrysanthemums. For Chinese New Year displays, mokara and dendrobium add bright colour to pussy willow and peach blossom centrepieces.

Pricing starts at SGD 12 per single Mokara stem and reaches SGD 280 for premium 5-stem cymbidium or phalaenopsis arrangements. Most cut orchid orders sit in the SGD 48 to SGD 128 range. Frequently Asked Questions

How long do cut orchids last in a vase?

2 to 4 weeks at Singapore room temperature, longer than nearly any other cut flower. Phalaenopsis and cymbidium are the longest-lasting (3 to 4 weeks). Mokara and dendrobium are slightly shorter (2 to 3 weeks). Change the water every 3 days and trim stems diagonally to extend life.

What is the difference between Phalaenopsis, Dendrobium, Cymbidium, and Mokara orchids?

Phalaenopsis is the classic moth orchid (large blooms, white or pink, 4 to 6 blooms per stem). Dendrobium is the smaller purple-and-white spray orchid often imported from Thailand. Cymbidium is the large garden orchid in green, yellow, or pink. Mokara is the small bright Singapore-grown orchid, mostly orange or yellow.

How much do cut orchids cost in Singapore?

From SGD 12 per single Mokara stem to SGD 280 for premium 5-stem cymbidium or phalaenopsis arrangements. Most orders sit in the SGD 48 to SGD 128 range. Bulk discounts apply for 10+ stems on the same variety.

Are cut orchids good for office reception or sympathy arrangements?

Yes. Cut orchids hold up 2 to 4 weeks in air-conditioning, beating most other flowers on cost-per-week. White phalaenopsis is the standard premium upgrade for sympathy work over chrysanthemums. Cymbidium and dendrobium are the most-ordered for office reception centrepieces.

Do you deliver fresh cut orchids islandwide in Singapore?

Yes. Free same-day islandwide delivery for orders before noon. Cut orchids are packed upright with a water tube on each stem to prevent dehydration during transit. For longer transport (e.g., overseas gifting), we recommend the live orchid plant alternative.
