Exceptional service recovery and customer care! Recently ordered a floral centrepiece for a significant milestone event, and while there was initially a hiccup, the Singapore Florist team went above and beyond to make it right.
Ordered a bouquet for a friend's birthday and the delivery was right on time. Stems were fresh, the wrap was elegant, and the recipient sent me photos within an hour to thank me. Would order again without hesitation.
Beautiful and affordable bouquets! Singapore Florist has been my go-to for the past two years. Reliable, gorgeous arrangements, and the prices are honest. Highly recommend.
Gerbera daisies, the joyful crowd-pleaser bouquet
Gerbera daisies are the most universally loved bouquet flower for casual gift-giving in Singapore. Each stem has a single large daisy-style bloom (8cm to 12cm wide) in vivid colours: hot pink, orange, red, yellow, white, peach, and multi-tone variants. The Singapore Florist studio sources gerberas from local growers and Malaysian farms, with shipments arriving twice a week. They are one of our top-ordered flowers for birthdays, get-well wishes, congratulations, and the kind of "no specific occasion" gestures where you want something cheerful and uncomplicated. Gerberas are the bouquet that almost nobody dislikes, which makes them the safest bet when you do not know the recipient's preferences.
The visual identity of a gerbera bouquet is unfussy joy. Each bloom is large enough to make visual impact, the colours are vivid without being overwhelming, and the daisy shape reads playful rather than formal. Most of our gerbera bouquets contain 6 to 18 stems in mixed colours, arranged in a loose hand-tied bundle with green filler. Single-colour gerbera bouquets (all pink, all yellow, all white) also work for more curated looks. For the boldest visual impact, hot pink gerberas paired with bright greenery are our most-ordered combination.
Pricing starts at SGD 68 for the 6-stem gerbera wrap and reaches SGD 188 for the 24-stem premium mixed arrangement. Most gerbera orders land in the SGD 78 to SGD 118 range. Every order ships free islandwide, includes a handwritten card, and arrives same-day for orders before 12pm. For specific first-date bouquets featuring gerberas, see our first date flowers collection. For mixed bouquets that include gerberas alongside roses and other flowers, browse the mixed flowers collection. How we keep gerberas upright to prevent the dreaded stem-bend problem
Gerberas have a famous problem: the stems bend just below the bloom head within a day or two of being placed in a vase, causing the flowers to droop unnaturally. This is because the gerbera's hollow stem cannot support the weight of its large bloom head once cut. The fix is a technique we have refined over decades: we place a thin floral wire alongside each gerbera stem during arrangement, securing the stem against the wire so the bloom stays upright. The wire is invisible inside the bouquet wrap and the recipient does not see it, but it prevents the bend that would otherwise ruin the bouquet's appearance after a day. Every gerbera in this collection is wired before being arranged. We also recommend the recipient places the bouquet in tall narrow vase that supports the wired stems vertically rather than a wide bowl that lets them flop sideways.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do gerberas really droop after a day in the vase?
They can if not properly wired. Gerberas have hollow stems that bend under the weight of the large bloom head once cut. We solve this by inserting a thin floral wire alongside each stem during arrangement. Every gerbera in this collection is wired, so the bouquet stays upright for the full vase life of 5 to 7 days. Place the bouquet in a tall narrow vase rather than a wide bowl to keep the wired stems vertical.
What does a gerbera bouquet symbolise?
Joy, cheerfulness, innocence, and uncomplicated friendship. Gerberas are the universal happy flower across cultures, and they work for birthdays, get-well wishes, congratulations, friendship anniversaries, and any context where you want to convey simple positive energy.
What is the most popular gerbera colour in Singapore?
Hot pink is the most-ordered single colour, followed by mixed multi-colour bouquets (the rainbow gerbera mix). Yellow and orange are popular for celebration and graduation contexts. White gerberas work for sympathy and minimalist arrangements but are less commonly ordered as standalone bouquets.
How long do gerbera bouquets last?
5 to 7 days with proper care, similar to roses and tulips. The stems need to stay upright (we wire them in the studio before arranging), and the standard care routine applies: re-cut stems, change water every 2 days, no direct aircon or sunlight.
Are gerberas safe for recipients with cat or dog allergies?
Gerberas are non-toxic to cats and dogs, but they do produce pollen which can affect humans with severe pollen allergies. For pollen-sensitive recipients, our pet-friendly collection includes lower-pollen alternatives. Most recipients with mild allergies tolerate gerberas without issue.
