Exceptional service recovery and customer care! Recently ordered a floral centrepiece for a significant milestone event, and while there was initially a hiccup, the Singapore Florist team went above and beyond to make it right.

Ordered a bouquet for a friend's birthday and the delivery was right on time. Stems were fresh, the wrap was elegant, and the recipient sent me photos within an hour to thank me. Would order again without hesitation.

Proposal flowers, the highest-stakes bouquet you will ever order

Proposal flowers are the single most photographed and most emotionally weighted bouquet category we ship. Every proposal bouquet is going to be on the recipient's Instagram within 24 hours, in the family WhatsApp group within an hour, and in the wedding photos for the rest of their life. The Singapore Florist studio has been arranging proposal bouquets since 1987 and we treat every single one with the seriousness it deserves: senior arranger, premium stems only, photo-ready hand-tied build, and same-day coordinated delivery to the proposal location whether that is a restaurant, a hotel suite, a park, a beach, or a hilltop view.

The most-ordered proposal bouquet is the 99-stem premium red Ohara or Explorer rose arrangement, which carries the Chinese forever-love symbolism (99 sounds like long-lasting in Mandarin). Second most popular is the 50-stem premium red rose bouquet, followed by the 24-stem deluxe arrangement for more intimate proposal moments. Some couples prefer alternative palettes like champagne roses (sophisticated and modern), white roses (timeless and elegant), pink and white mixed (soft romantic), or hand-tinted blue roses (the unattainable, mysterious gesture). Whatever the colour, the build quality and presentation are non-negotiable for proposal day.

Pricing starts at SGD 188 for the deluxe 24-stem proposal bouquet and reaches SGD 1,288 for the premium 99-stem Ohara grand-gesture build. Most proposal orders land in the SGD 388 to SGD 688 range. Every order ships free islandwide, includes a coordinated proposal-spot delivery, and is built by a senior arranger in our Eunos Techpark studio. For specifically the 99-stem builds, see our 99 roses collection. For premium Ecuadorian rose options, browse our premium roses collection. For alternative colour palettes, see red roses or hand-tinted blue roses. Read more in our guides to rose colour meanings, number of roses meaning, and how long roses last.

How we coordinate proposal-day delivery to surprise locations

Proposal-day delivery is the highest-stakes logistical operation we handle. The bouquet has to arrive at the right place, at the right time, without spoiling the surprise, and in perfect photo-ready condition. Our protocol: once you book a proposal bouquet, we contact you 24 hours before delivery to confirm the exact location, time, and any special instructions (e.g., bring through the rear entrance, hand to the maitre d, position at the bench, etc.). Our driver delivers 30 to 45 minutes before the planned proposal moment so the bouquet is in position when you and your partner arrive. For restaurant proposals, we coordinate directly with the host stand or sommelier so the bouquet appears at exactly the right moment. For outdoor proposals (parks, beaches, hilltops), our driver hands the bouquet to a discreet contact (usually a wedding photographer or friend) who places it just before you arrive. WhatsApp us after ordering to set up the coordination.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the most popular proposal flower in Singapore?

The 99-stem premium red rose bouquet is by far the most-ordered proposal arrangement. The number 99 carries Chinese forever-love symbolism (it sounds like long-lasting in Mandarin), and the visual scale of 99 stems matches the emotional weight of the moment. The premium Ecuadorian Ohara or Explorer red varieties are the standard. See our 99 roses collection.

How much should I budget for a proposal bouquet in Singapore?

Most of our proposal bouquets land in the SGD 388 to SGD 688 range, which gets you 50 to 99 premium Ecuadorian red roses with hand-tied wrap and coordinated proposal-spot delivery. Below SGD 300 is possible (24 to 36 stems) for more intimate proposal moments. Above SGD 800 enters grand-gesture territory (full premium Ohara, presentation box, additional accents).

Can you deliver a proposal bouquet directly to a restaurant for the surprise?

Yes, this is one of our most-popular proposal scenarios. Give us the restaurant name, reservation time, reservation name, and any specific instructions (table number, sommelier coordination, discreet hand-over) in the order notes. Our driver coordinates with the host stand 30 to 45 minutes before your reservation so the bouquet appears at the perfect moment.

What if the proposal location is outdoors (a park, beach, hilltop)?

For outdoor proposals we work with whatever discreet contact you have (a friend, a wedding photographer, a guide). Our driver delivers the bouquet to that contact at a coordinated time and location, and they position the bouquet just before you arrive. WhatsApp us with the location and timing details so we can coordinate properly.

What flowers are alternatives to red roses for a proposal?

White roses (timeless and elegant), champagne roses (sophisticated modern), hand-tinted blue roses (the unattainable, mysterious gesture from our blue roses collection), or peonies during peak season (April to June). Each carries a different emotional register but all work for proposal contexts. Red is the most traditional and the safest choice if you are unsure of your partner's preference.
