Ordered a bouquet for a friend's birthday and the delivery was right on time. Stems were fresh, the wrap was elegant, and the recipient sent me photos within an hour to thank me. Would order again without hesitation.
Beautiful and affordable bouquets! Singapore Florist has been my go-to for the past two years. Reliable, gorgeous arrangements, and the prices are honest. Highly recommend.
Sunflower bouquets, the warmest and most uncomplicated bouquet you can send
Sunflowers are the most universally cheerful flower we stock. Each large bright-yellow bloom (10cm to 20cm wide) on a tall sturdy stem reads as warmth, joy, and uncomplicated celebration. The Singapore Florist studio has been arranging sunflower bouquets since 1987, and they are by far our most-ordered male-recipient bouquet (because they read celebratory without being floral-coded), our most-ordered graduation bouquet, and one of the safest gifts for recipients you do not know well. Sunflowers say "I want to make you smile" without complicating the message.
This collection covers the full sunflower range. Standard yellow sunflowers (the classic look) make up most of our orders. Multi-stem sunflower posies (5 to 12 stems in a tight bundle) are our most-popular format. Mixed sunflower arrangements pair sunflowers with yellow roses, gerberas, and orange accent flowers for a "warm autumn sunset" look. We also stock the dwarf sunflower variety (smaller blooms, shorter stems) for more delicate arrangements, and the dramatic 30cm giant sunflowers for statement single-stem gifts. The most-ordered sunflower bouquet is the 6 to 8 stem posy at SGD 78 to SGD 98.
Pricing starts at SGD 68 for the 4-stem sunflower wrap and reaches SGD 248 for the premium 18-stem mixed sunflower arrangement. Most orders land in the SGD 78 to SGD 118 range. Every order ships free islandwide, includes a handwritten card, and arrives same-day for orders before 12pm. For graduation-specific bouquets, see our graduation flowers collection. For Father's Day arrangements (sunflowers are the most-ordered Father's Day flower), see our Father's Day flowers collection. How we keep sunflower stems upright to prevent the heavy-bloom droop
Sunflowers have a similar problem to gerberas: the bloom head is heavy relative to the stem, and untreated sunflowers can droop within a day of being placed in a vase. The fix is the same technique we use for gerberas: we insert a thin floral wire alongside each sunflower stem during arrangement, securing the heavy head to the wire so it stays upright. The wire is invisible inside the bouquet wrap. We also recommend the recipient places the bouquet in a tall narrow vase that supports the wired stems vertically, rather than a wide bowl that lets them flop sideways. Every sunflower in this collection is wired before being arranged, and the bouquet is conditioned for 12 to 24 hours in nutrient water before delivery.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why are sunflowers the best bouquet for a male recipient?
Sunflowers read celebratory without being floral-coded, which is the specific challenge of male-recipient bouquets. Where roses or pink carnations can feel mismatched for a male recipient, sunflowers feel warm and uncomplicated regardless of the recipient's gender. They are by far our most-ordered male-recipient bouquet across categories like Father's Day, graduation, congratulations, and birthdays.
What does a sunflower bouquet symbolise?
Warmth, joy, loyalty, longevity, and uncomplicated celebration. Sunflowers track the sun across the sky during their growing phase, which gives them the cultural symbolism of devotion and positivity. They are the universal happy flower across cultures and the safest non-romantic bouquet you can send.
How long do sunflower bouquets last in Singapore?
5 to 7 days with proper care. Sunflowers are reasonably hardy as cut flowers, holding their bright yellow colour and shape well. We wire the stems in the studio before arranging to prevent the heavy-bloom droop. Standard care: re-cut stems, change water every 2 days, no direct aircon or sunlight.
Can I order a single giant sunflower as a statement gift?
Yes, the 30cm giant sunflower variety makes a striking single-stem gift wrapped in clean cream paper. It costs around SGD 38 to SGD 58 per stem and is popular for casual gifts, modern minimalist gestures, and recipients who appreciate something unusual. WhatsApp us for current giant sunflower stock.
Are sunflowers safe for pets?
Yes, sunflowers are non-toxic to cats and dogs (unlike lilies, which are highly toxic to cats). They produce some pollen which can affect humans with severe pollen allergies but are otherwise safe for indoor display. See our pet-friendly collection for the full pet-safe flower range.
