Birthday hampers built around flowers, chocolates, and wine

A birthday hamper says more than a bouquet can on its own. The flower is the celebration, the chocolates or wine are the follow-through, and the hamper basket is the keepsake the recipient actually gets to keep long after the flowers are gone. The Singapore Florist studio has been assembling birthday hampers since 1987, and they are one of the most-ordered corporate gifts we handle through the year because they land well whether the recipient is a close colleague, a senior manager, a VIP client, or a long-distance family member who cannot be visited in person.

This collection includes three hamper tiers. The entry tier (SGD 148 to SGD 188) pairs a small bouquet of 6 to 10 stems with artisan chocolates or a bottle of sparkling wine, presented in a reusable keepsake basket. The mid-range tier (SGD 228 to SGD 328) adds gourmet crackers, premium chocolates, fresh seasonal fruit, and a larger 12 to 15 stem bouquet. The premium tier (SGD 388 and above) features full champagne bottles, fine red or white wines from our curated supplier list, substantial floral arrangements, and presentation baskets or boxes in cream-gold finishes. Every hamper ships same-day islandwide for orders placed before 12pm, includes a free handwritten card, and is delivered by our own driver for quality control.

Roughly 60 percent of our birthday hamper orders are corporate: law firms to clients, banks to business partners, agencies to VIP customers. For these orders we routinely add logo-printed cards, branded ribbons, and coordinated company colours at no extra charge (for orders of 5 or more). Personal birthday hampers make up the other 40 percent and typically skew towards family recipients who live across Singapore (parents in the north-east, siblings on the west side) or colleagues receiving a birthday-meets-thank-you hybrid gift. How we assemble hampers so the flowers stay fresh in transit

The tricky part of a flower-and-gourmet hamper is that fresh cut flowers need water, and every other item in the hamper needs to stay dry. Our solution is a two-stage assembly. The non-flower items (chocolates, wine, crackers, fruit, presentation items) are arranged in the basket first, with the flower reservoir positioned at the rear. Fresh stems are inserted at the last stage, just before dispatch, in a water-source tube that keeps the stems hydrated without leaking onto the rest of the hamper. For premium tiers, we also include a small care card with stem re-cutting instructions so the recipient can transfer the flowers to a proper vase if they want to extend the vase life beyond the hamper's practical shelf-life. Delivery is by our own driver rather than a third-party courier, so the hamper stays upright in transit and arrives in the exact configuration it left the studio in.
