Hougang Harvest

Hougang, mid-morning, everything already warm. This is a bouquet with no cool colours in it at all: six yellow gerberas, five yellow pom pom chrysanthemums, three yellow spider chrysanthemums and four sprays of golden ramsey, wrapped in kraft paper and tied with a yellow satin ribbon.

Chrysanthemums are the Mid-Autumn flower, and this is the friendliest way to send them. It reads happy from across a room, which is exactly what you want for a birthday, a get well, or a congratulations.
